Mexican Wrestling Singlet Did Rey Mysterio Paid Money To The Mexican Wrestling Promotions For Putting His Mask Back On?

I know that the struggle in Mexico, complete with a mask after losing a fight may have terminated the license, but I've never heard of paying the king to the mask in the WWE experience. King asked Vince to wear a mask or when he debuted, but I do not know whether the king to pay to use them or not.
