Not really. The only time I feel any kind of tape is acceptable for a male if it is in sport and should help the sweat from his eyes. They are thicker toweling that thin, I could give a false impression to the people, believe me, you have a friend who had discovered the hard way! What the girls, perhaps, if you prefer to use the hair.
